After the Final Rose and the New Bachelorette… Way Too Much Drama for Two Nights of Television

By ilovedorks

I couldn’t wait for Monday night to come so I could sit on my couch and watch the finale of The Bachelor.  Finally, the single dad from Seattle was going to propose!  As America guessed, he picked our favorite Texan and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, Melissa.  I was ready to turn my TV off when I realized that something else was recording, The Bachelor-After the Final Rose.  I couldn’t go to sleep just yet, so I pressed play.  Chris Harrison said that ‘this episode’ was the most dramatic in bachelor history, and boy was he right.  The show was supposed to be about how happy he was with Melissa, but it took a turn for the worse… a horrible mistake on Jason’s part.  There ended up being no studio audience, a first for the show.  Jason came out to tell Melissa that he no longer wanted to be with her, and told Molly that he ‘made a mistake’ and wanted to be with her instead. Spectators, including myself were absolutely shocked.

While Melissa was sitting on the couch trying not to break down as Jason was telling her that things were now ‘different’ she hands him back the beautiful Neil Lane engagement ring.  What is wrong with you girl.  Keep the ring, its yours.. hello???  She then proceeds to talk about herself in the third person which is very strange and odd.  Jason goes on to defend himself saying that he is just trying to be honest, but hello buddy, you had all this time to decide.  You can’t have your cake and eat it to.  Ugh you are such a dork.  Melissa ends up calling Jason a bastard, which is great, then gets up and leaves the building.  Jason then brings Molly out to tell her how he is feeling and what just happened.  She is now in utter shock.  She finally realizes that its not a joke and that Jason does want to start up a relationship with her and she says yes. (why, why, why, who else would want to be sloppy seconds???)

Since this episode, there has been so much reaction from all the fans.  The once so adored Jason Mesnick was now hated by all the women and men in America.  First he broke Molly’s heart and asked Melissa to marry him.  Then he breaks up with Melissa (on National television) to see if he could have another chance with Molly.  UGH.. why can’t he make up his mind… Why is he so self-ish.  I am totally disgusted.

Anyways, the next night was the second installment of The Bachelor-The Final Rose where Molly and Jason appeared together. Melissa was no where insight (good for you girl, he is a loser and you can do so much better).  Molly and Jason say they have been together for six weeks now and that they are very happy.  Chris Harrison also announced that Jillian Harris will be the new Bachelorette.  I was definitely hoping that it was going to be Melissa. Rumor has it that the producers of the show first asked Molly to be the next Bachelorette, but she said no, so then they asked Jillian, and she said yes, and then it was too late to ask Melissa.  I am happy for Jillian and will definitely be watching.  But, I would have absolutely loved for Melissa to have her chance to find true love… Hopefully Jillian will be smart enough to pick the right guy the first time around. And lets keep our fingers crossed that Jason and Molly will stay together, unlike over 90% of all the Bachelor and Bachelorette couples who end up alone. Good Luck Jillian!!!

I suspected from the beginning that Jason Mesnick was a tool, then the finale eliminated all doubt

Hello I’ve been watching the bachelor and bachelorette show every since it started and I find that the guys are getting dumber by the minute they just seem to want fame or TV time when they are down there luck and that is wrong. As for the ladies they are crazy not to see the guys who are user I’ m seeing that Trista Sutter was the only for real person with a broken heart and she wanted to find love and she did. DeAnna Pappas was very up front with the guys and do give her hats off on getting the bad apples out but she was crazy Jason was her soulmate. Jason and <olly won't stay together for reason she not mother material she show that at the beach with Ty. DeAnna was Ty the soulmate' and friend I do believe if Jason would have given Melissa a chance it would have worked. As for Jillian Harris she will be hurt unless she see her angel and God since her angel back to her and I do believe Jake is that angel and it's not Ed . People say Ed the one they are wrong unless I missed something, Jake state that he look for his friend and soulmate . Let's see what grandmother say about this okay.
